1827 [SY] - 1834 [LA] → Joint owner
|
- 1827 [EY] → Joint owner
Henry Davidson senior left his share of the Highbury estate to his son Henry under his will proved 23/05/1827. The Slave Registers appear not to distinguish between the two men. |
1825 [EA] - 1834 [LA] → Joint owner
Local secondary material shows Cameron, Davidson and Barkly buying four estates - Dageraad, Sandvoort, St Jan and Dankbaarheid - from the Berbice Association in November 1818, and then dividing them among themselves. Sandvoort was subdivided by the Camerons into Sandvoort and Lochaber, and Highbury reportedly formed from St Jan and Dankbaarheid, although the latter appears to have remained separate until at least 1834. |
