Henry Davidson married Caroline Blake, the daughter of William Blake (q.v) of Danesbury Park Hertfordshire in 1837 at St George's Hanover Square.
In 1851 the couple were living at Roslyn House Hampstead with daughter Ellen aged 6, a niece Julia (aged 23 born Scotland) and six servants.
Henry Davidson late of 8 Mansfield Street who died 09/01/1886 at Balcombe Place Haywards Heath proved 27/01/1886, personal estate £28,408 1s 8d.
Under his father's will, Henry Davidson was left Rosslyn house in Hampstead subject to his mother's life interest, a sum of £30,000 and all his father's interest in the Highbury plantation in Berbice, 'formerly part of the Crown Estates', and a division of his father's share of the capital in Davidsons & Barkly as of the scheduled expiration of his father's partnership in 1833 between the sons then working in the business (who were anticipated to be, and in the event were, Henry and his brother William).
