Notes |
The enslaved people on this estate were largely dispersed following the death of John Henry Wisdom between 1817 and 1820. It's likely that the land was renamed Greenwich as John Wisdom, heir at law of John Henry Wisdom, transferred enslaved people belonging to his wife from Trelawny to St Ann around 1820 and registered them on a new estate called Greenwich. See JA131. |
