Biography

Peter Davidson contributed £23 15s to the University of Pennsylvania following Dr John Morgan's fundraising tour of the West Indies in 1772-1773.

The estate of Peter Davidson was listed as owner of 54 enslaved people and 128 stock in St Ann, Jamaica, in 1792. Peter Davidson Esquire deceased was the owner of Meadows Pen in St Ann 1791-1793 and of Cliffs in St Mary in 1790. Cliffs was registered the following year for the heirs of Charles Leslie deceased (possibly a different estate with the same name).

Jeanett and Mary, daughters of Peter Davidson of the Cliffs, were baptised in St Mary 21/12/1792.
