1794
[Name] Diamond
Under the will of William Smith of Revolution Hall proved 08/11/1794, he left his share in Diamond to Thomas Oliver and George Griffin (two of the guardians of his children appointed under the will) as tenants-in-common, apparently as beneficiaries. He had however secured 2/3rds of the annuities and monetary legacies under his will on his share of the estate, so might have believed its residual value to be low.
