In 1801 the life-interest of Andrew Loughnan should he survive his wife, and his absolute right should he survive his wife without issue, in £2000 secured on the La Samaritaine estate and the enslaved people on it in St Patrick Grenada were placed for auction after the bankruptcy of Cheap, Loughnan, subject to a mortgage debt of £26,000 an annuity of £300 p.a. to a lady aged 54 or thereabouts and a further £2000 to a co-legatee on the estate, together with his tenancy by courtesy of one moiety of the estate.

An estate in Grenada in the quartier des Sauteurs and the parish of St. Patrick, identified as lots 12 and 13 in Daniel Paterson's Topographical Description of the Island of Grenada (1780) and as Estate 12 in Gavin Smith's Plan of the Island of Grenada (1801). Identified in 1824 as Samaritan.
