Governor of Grenada between 1815-1816 and 1823-1826. Genealogical sources consistently show a death-date of 1852 for him. No British will has been found for him to date.
George Paterson of Grenada became an Extraordinary Member of the Aberdeen Medical Society in December 1796.
Sir George Paterson (1906-1996), colonial administrator, was the lineal descendant of George Paterson of Grenada.
