- 1767 [EY] → Owner
Pond & Fancy have been inferred by LBS to have been the two estates reported to have been bequeathed in the will of Tobias Wall Gallwey. In the 1753 Samuel Baker map, 'Tobias Wall Gallwey' is marked on the estate in the south-eastern corner of St Peter Basseterre that in the 1828 William McMahon map is given as 'The Fancy of Sir Willm P. Gallwey', and on the estate in St George Basseterre north of the town of Basseterre that in the 1828 map was marked as 'Pond Estate of Sir Willm P. Gallwey.' |
- 1737 [EY] → Owner
Owner of Pond, according to his will made in 1736 and proved in 1737. |
1792 [EA] - 1795 [LA] → Not known
William Priddie in his will made in 1792 said that he had contracted to buy the Pond estate from Stephen Payne Gallway [sic] of Norfolk for £19,740 and paid £3640. It appears the estate reverted to the Gallway or Gallwey family. |
1792 [EA] - → Seller
|
1817 [EA] - 1831 [LA] → Owner
