[Size] 280 [Stock] horses, mules, cattle A lease and conveyance of 7 February 1833, pp 155 - 159, No. 18642 grantor: John Proctor Anderdon of Farley Hill near Reading in the county of Berks Esq. grantees: John Hopton Forbes of Ely Place in the county of Middlesex, Gentleman James William Freshfield the younger of New Bank Building in the City of London, Gentleman. The estate is said to be in St. George Basseterre. On the property are 'dwelling houses, negro houses, mills, mills houses, distilling houses, boiling houses, curing houses, refining houses, trash houses, [and] stables..." There are also "horses, mules, cattle and [other] livestock". The entry ends with a schedule of enslaved people on the estate listing their names, 'sex', 'colour', reputed age, country, and usual employment. It is noted that the information concerning the enslaved was taken from the most recent registration of the enslaved ordered by the office of the "Registrar of Slaves". A lease of 26 July 1833, pp 410 - 411, No. 18740 grantors: John Hopton Forbes and James William Freshfield the younger grantee: John Wilson A release of 27 July 1833, pp 412 - 429, No. 18741 First Part: John Proctor Anderdon Second part: John Hopton Forbes and James William Freshfield the younger as trustees Third part: John Wilson Fourth Part: Matthew Hale of Ely Place in the county of Middlesex, Gentleman Forbes and Freshfield had been 'assigned .... upon trust' for the payment of £1500 sterling by John Wilson to John Proctor Anderdon.
