Hope in Christ Church Nichola Town in the 1828 William McMahon map (where it is marked 'The Hope of John Swindell Esqr.') appears to be the in the same location as the estate marked 'Taylors Island' and 'Nichs, Taylor Esq.' in the 1753 Samuel Baker map, on the eastern edge of the parish and adjacent to Bevon Island.
