[Number of enslaved people] 392(Tot) 199(F) 193(M)
[Name] Golden Grove The return by Hon. John Robley 30/01/1819 was described as a combined return for the Golden Grove in the Parish of St Patrick and the 'total number of slaves belonging to or attached thereto, or usually worked, or employed thereon, and on the neighbouring estate called Friendship in the said Parish', but in fact a second return for Friendship was made separately. Both returns were made by The Hon. John Robley. Friendship showed a marked gender imbalance. The return by John Robley was amended by a supplementary return 15/02/1819 in which was added 'Judy, black 10 [yrs] 5 [months] creole, no work from leprosy & sores from her birth', bringing the total of females up to 199 and the total of enslaved people up to 392.
