Notes

  1. The original grantee of Castara was Pat. Ferguson under St John no. 25, and of Englishman's Bay Arthur Leary Pigott under St John nos. 21 and 22 and James Macintosh under St John nos. 23 and 24. 'Present Possessor' of Castara was Geo. Fergson, and of Englishman's Bay was Colonel Taylor. In 1832 the Owner of Cartara [sic] was shown as Capt. Ferguson (the estate was still in cultivation in 1862); Englishman's Bay did not appear in this second list.
