Notes

  1. The original purchasers of Queens Bay division (St Paul parish) Lots nos. 35, 361/2 and 37, which became the Merchiston estate, were John Sharpe, Wm Young and John Sharpe; 'Present Possessors [i.e. c. 1866] heirs of Napier'. In 1832 the owner was shown as 'Mrs Napier'; by 1862 the estate was 'Abandoned'.

  2. c. 1773 Lots 35 and 37 were owned by James Campbell.
