Estate Information (4) |
1817
[Number of enslaved people] 282(Tot)
[Name] None given John Taylor [sic] prop. The estate has been inferred to be Sion Hill/Little Sion and, with less confidence, John Taylor has been inferred to be John Duncombe Taylor. It might be that the 'John Taylor' who appears in the will of Robert Jeaffreson as having purchased an estate from Jeaffreson in 1792 and featured in Jeaffreson's will of 1806/7 was still alive in 1817.
