Thomas Daniell was associated by Vere Langford Oliver with The Villa, which was later owned by his son Earle Lindsey Daniell, but Thomas Daniell's will is silent on the estate, identifying only Paradise and another unnamed estate, both on Dominica. The will however does say that he [Thomas Daniell] had purchased the estates of the late John Lindsay [sic] from his son.

Indenture dated 11/04/1806 between Earle Lindsey Daniell (only son and heir-at-law of Thomas Daniell of Snettisham Co. Norfolk by Ann his 1st wife formerly Ann Lindsey spinster, decd.), Anne Daniell 2nd wife widow of Thomas Daniell and John Blackburn of New Broad Street among others. The indenture recites an earlier deed of 12 and 13th December 1779 between William Lindsey of Antigua (heir-at-law and devisee of John Lindsey then late of Antigua) and his sister Ann and [brother-in-law] Thomas Daniell whereby William Lindsey in return for an annuity of £500 p.a. conveyed all that plantation late the property of John Lindsey deceased and then William Lindsey [the estate is unnamed but Oliver gives John Lindsey as of Morgan's and Rev. William Lindsey of Morgan alias the Villa]; it also recites a deed of 1802 whereby John Blackburn undertook to pay the arrears of John Lindsey's widow Ann charged on Morgan's.
