Presumably a partner in Joseph Wilson & Sons of Dublin. Named in five claims in Trinidad with Thomas Wilson (q.v.) but does not appear as awardee.
Unsourced online family tree gives him as the son of Thomas Digby Brooke and Agnes Kirchoffer. Married 1809 Lucinda Dobbin (born Armagh 1788-1860).
'At Kirkmallow, Isle of Man, Henry Daniel Brooke Esq., late of Coolock house Dublin' died 1847.
1851 census shows Lucinda Brooke living at Clifton Park, Tranmere, Cheshire with son Joseph Wilson Brooke, age 31, merchant and shipowner, and L[eonard] D[obbin] Brooke, age 25, Ship Owner & SailMaker, both sons born in Dublin.
27 December [1860] The Will with a Codicil of Lucinda Brooke late of Clifton Park Birkenhead in the County of Chester Widow deceased who died 18 November 1860 at Clifton Park aforesaid was proved at Chester by the oath of Joseph Wilson Brooke of Clifton Park aforesaid Gentleman the Son and the sole Executor. Effects under £3000.
