Natural son of Elizabeth Junor and James Hay of Grenada and Sloane Street (q.v.), under a codicil to whose will he inherited Thuileries & Munich as a minor (through trustees) in 1819.

James Thomas Hay of 127 Sloane Street, son of James Hay, married Rosetta Sarah Hill of Beckenham, Kent, daughter of Edward Gray Hill, in Upper Chelsea, 10/09/1840.
Thomas and Rozetta Hay, both aged 20, were living at Cadogan Place, London, in the census of 1841, with 1 male and 2 female servants. His occupation was given as merchant. Deceased by 1851 when Rozetta was a widowed teacher of music living at 173 Chenies Place, St Pancras.
