Biography

Natural son of Elizabeth Junor and James Hay of Grenada and Sloane Street (q.v.), under a codicil to whose will he inherited Thuileries & Munich as a minor (through trustees) in 1819.

  1. James Thomas Hay son of James Hay and Elizabeth was baptised at St Luke's Chelsea 19/06/1814 (born 13/10/1813).

  2. James Thomas Hay of 127 Sloane Street, son of James Hay, married Rosetta Sarah Hill of Beckenham, Kent, daughter of Edward Gray Hill, in Upper Chelsea, 10/09/1840.

  3. Thomas and Rozetta Hay, both aged 20, were living at Cadogan Place, London, in the census of 1841, with 1 male and 2 female servants. His occupation was given as merchant. Deceased by 1851 when Rozetta was a widowed teacher of music living at 173 Chenies Place, St Pancras.
