With Peter Maze the elder, counterclaimed unsuccessfully as judgement creditors for compensation on estates owned by the Dalzell family.

  1. Peter Maze 1806-1869, son of Peter Maze the elder (1768-1849, q.v.) and Mary Wheeler. General merchant in Bristol. Married 1828 Charlotte, daughter of James Gordon of London. High Sheriff of Somerset 1848-49; Sheriff of Bristol 1833-4.  Left £350,000.
