- Born 08/07/1777 and baptised 10/07/1777 in Callander, Perth, son of Thomas Crawford (excise officer, died 26/04/1813 in Greenock) and May/Marjory Crawford née Campbell (died 15/12/1823 in Mansionhouse, Greenock). His sisters were Marion and Arrabella Crawford (both q.v.). Listed as a merchant of Greenock in the will of Alexander Campbell dated 28/01/1826, of whom he was a trustee. Died at Greenock 06/08/1834.
