Spinster of Greenock, Scotland, unsuccessful counterclaimant for enslaved persons on Robin's Nest estate in Jamaica, as legatee and devisee of Alexander Campbell (q.v.).
Born 09/07/1779 and baptised 11/07/1779 in Callender, Perth, son of Thomas Crawford (excise officer, died 26/04/1813 in Greenock) and May/Marjory Crawford née Campbell (died 15/12/1823 in the Mansion House, Greenock). His sister was Marion Crawford and her brother was Agnew Crawford (both q.v.).
Probable match in the 1841 census living at Mansion House Street, Greenock, Arabella Crawford age 50, occupation "Boarding House", born in Scotland, living with her neice Marion Crawford, age 7, 3 boarders and 2 female servants.
