Henry Ralph Willett

Biography

Henry Ralph Willett (1786-1857), of Broom Hall, Shooters Hill, Kent, 2nd son of John Willett Willett senior (q.v.) and trustee of his elder brother John Willett Willett junior (q.v.), on whose behalf he managed estates in St Kitts and Dorset and from whom he inherited the estates in 1839.

  1. Born 27/04/1786, second son of John Willett Adye (q.v., under John Willett Willett senior: he changed his name to Willett in 1795) and Catherine, daughter of Henry Brouncker of St Kitts and Boveridge, Dorset. Matriculated Christ Church, Oxford, 03/02/1804, M.A. 06/07/1810, barrister-at-law, Lincolns Inn, 1814. Inherited estates from his brother John Willett Willett junior (q.v.) in 1839. Died in the Albany, Piccadilly, 09/12/1857. 

  2. Appointed Sheriff of Dorset in 1849. 

  3. Will proved 23/01/1858, effects under £16000.
