Biography

Son of Thomas Todd (q.v.) and apparently a partner with his brother Richard James Surry Todd in the London merchants Todd Brothers (formerly Todd & Co., q.v.) in the mid-1840s.  Resident in Jamaica at the time of compensation and again after the 1840s.

  1. Two of Utten Thomas Todd's children with his wife Louisa were baptised in London (William Edward 29/05/1845 St Mary Sunbury and Avis Catherine 03/02/1847 St John the Evangelist Ladbroke Grove).
