Will of Kean Osborn, Upper Harley Street Cavendish Square proved 22/09/1821. The son (also named Kean) of Kean Osborn and Elizabeth had been baptised at St Marylebone 08/07/1783. The will of Margaret Eleanor Alpress, widow of Samuel Alpress, proved 1797, identifies Elizabeth Osborn wife of Kean Osborn as Margaret Eleanor Alpress's daughter.
Will of Elizabeth Osborn [now residing at No. 74 Grande Rue de Chaillot, Champs Elysees] Paris France proved 23/04/1846. In the will she refers to the absolute powers of appointment over estates in Jamaica including Caswell Hill, Richmond Park and then some estates not specified in Kean Osborn's will, including Montpelier and Mount Ephraim. She left the estates in trust to Rev Willoughby Crewe, John Ashley of Ashley Hall Jamaica and Ambrose Humphreys (q.v.),the first two for the benefit of Henry Crewe the second son of Rev. Willoughby Crewe with remainder to Offley Crewe his older brother; and the second two to her grand-daughters Margaret Eleanor Osborn and Arabella Catherine Montgomery. In a codicil she revoked the legacy of Caswell Hill and Richmond Park to Henry Crewe and left them instead to her daughter Frances Eliza Osborn.
