1773 - ????
David Langlands (given as Davis Longlands and David Longlands).
David Langlands wrote from Balhammoch [=Balkemmock] by Dundee to Wm Kerr in St Ann's re the debt due to Mr Langlands from Roseberry plantation 20/09/1827.
In the 1841 Scotland census online, David Langlands is shown as a farmer at Bulheinbock [sic] Tealing, Angus aged 68 with family members. John Langlands of Bogardo (also apparently a farmer) had inherited the Roseberry estate in Jamaica from his cousin, also John Langlands of Jamaica, and sold it shortly before his death c. 1828. David Langlands was presumably the brother of John Langlands of Bogardo.
