1773 - 1846
Widow of Hon John Palmer of Jamaica (who died 1797), returned to England and remarried Nathaniel Weekes of Barbados. She was allegedly the original of H.G.DeLisser's 'White Witch of Rose Hall'. Her great-nephew J. Rose Palmer pursued his claims to the estates of Palmyra and Rose Hall: his widow sold the equity right of redemption to Dr C.E.Bernard of Bristol.
