Of Boulogne, claimant, apparently unsuccessful, for the compensation for the enslaved people on the Peter Hall estate in British Guiana, and executor of William Brereton jun. (q.v.), whose will (although he died in 1822) was not proved until 30/11/1837.
T71/885 British Guiana no. 629; will of 'William Brereton of Demerara South America' PROB 11/1886/513. The various parties in this claim have not yet been disentangled, but it appears that William Brereton jun. died c. 1822.
