Of Formosa Place, Buckinghamshire (sic). Claimed with Sir John Maxwell Tylden (q.v.) as trustees of the parties interested in the marriage settlement of Miss Colin Campbell Baillie for the compensation for the enslaved people on Baillie's Bacolet in Grenada. The compensation was paid into the Chancery suits of Baillie v Innes and Baillie v Palmer.
Sir George Young, baronet, Commander R.N., son of Sir Samuel Young 1st bart. and Emily Baring, born 19/08/1797, succeeded his father 14/12/1826. The Rt. Hon.Sir George Young, MP, appointed Government Chief Whip in October 2012, is the 6th baronet.
Collin [sic] Campbell Baillie had married Edward Lloyd at St Marylebone 08/08/1816. The witnesses included Alex. Baillie and Hugh Rose.
