Given as R.W. Nanton in his apparently unsuccessful claim for the Smith's estate, but almost certainly Richard Wesston Nanton, a resident slave-owner who served as Chief Justice of Antigua after the end of slavery and who was the awardee in a second smaller claim for three enslaved people in Antigua.
