???? - 1806
Owner of Harmony Hall in Vere, which appears to have come to him by marriage. Given variously as Peter McKenzie and Mackenzie in the Accounts Produce. His daughter Mary Stevens Mackenzie married John Byng, later 1st Earl of Strafford.
Will of Peter Mackenzie of Twickenham [made in 1799] proved 06/10/1807. In the will he left his estate at Twickenham Surrey [Grove House] to his wife Mary Mackenzie for life during her widowhood, she permitting 'my [sic] three daughters' Mary Stevens Mackenzie, Sarah Mackenzie and Dorothy Mackenzie to live there with her; the house was then to pass to Peter Mackenzie's sister Sarah in trust to be sold by her. He left his Jamaica property, including the enslaved people, also in trust to his sister Sarah to be sold for the benefit of his children.
He married Mary Read (q.v., under Mrs Mary Mackenzie nee Read), daughter and co-heir of Ennis Read (q.v.), in 1778.
