This man appears to be a different individual to Peter Theodore Shaw (q.v.), whose will was proved in 1829 whereas Theodore Shaw is shown as having purchased Johnsons in 1830. The appearance in the Slave Registers of trustees to the estate of Theodore Shaw implies he died between 1831 and 1834, but unsourced genealogical material online shows him as a younger son of Peter Theodore Shaw, born 1802 or 1804 in England and dying in St Kitts in 1864.

The dates listed below have different categories as denoted by the letters in the brackets following each date. Here is a key to explain those letter codes:
|
02/05/1830 [SD] - 1832 [LA] → Owner
There is a slight discrepancy in the date on which Shaw received the estate. He says it was 2 May 1830 (folio 141) while the Receiver says it was 1 June 1830 (folio 3). |
Son → Father
