Biography

  1. Frances Mackie manumitted Ann Delap, 20/02/1825 (10s 0d paid).

  2. By her will of 1826 Frances Mackie of Westmoreland stipulated that her granddaughter Ann Delap, recently manumitted, was to receive her inheritance only if she became “the mistress of a credible white person” or married “any decent person of colour”.
