Biography

Owner of Ragville estate in St Thomas-in-the-Vale, Jamaica, from at least 1809 until his death. Deceased by 1823.

  1. William Henry Parker, born 31/12/1774 and baptised 10/04/1776 in St Catherine, Jamaica, son of William and Mary Parker. This makes him the probable brother of Richard Ragg Parker the elder (q.v., who died in Clifton, Bristol, in 1821). Ragville was later registered to Richard Ragg Parker (q.v.) as executor of William Henry Parker; the family relationship of this second Richard Ragg Parker is unknown.

  2. William John, son of William Henry and Sarah Parker, born 05/02/1800 and baptised 11/02/1800 in St Catherine; William Henry, same parents, born 13/09/1806 and baptised 11/11/1806 in St Catherine.
