'Marianne Cuming' and 'Mary Ann Cuming' were probably the same woman. Marianne Cuming was shown as the owner of Endeavour on Carriacou in 1817, and as the partner of William Scott (q.v.) with whom she had seven children. His will described her as a 'free mestize.'
