Mary Fraser (née Rowland)

  1. Daughter of Edward Rowland, niece and heir of Gabriel Rowland of Chatsworth coffee plantation.

  2. Of Liverpool when she married William Fraser, aide-de-camp of General Nugent, in Liverpool in 1807. Their son John Nugent Fraser was baptised in Exeter 06/01/1808.

  3. Presumably in Jamaica 1817-1823 when her husband registered enslaved people on Chatsworth estate in the slave registers. Not clear where she was in 1826 but she registered enslaved people herself in 1829 and 1832.

  4. Died in 1834.
