Samuel Mure

???? - 1836

Biography

Slave-owner and slave-factor in Jamaica, partner with William Dunlop and the Rainfords. LBS has tentatively inferred him to have been the same man as Samuel Mure of Herringswell House near Newmarket, who was the last surviving son of Hutchison Mure (q.v.) and whose will (which makes no reference to Jamaica) was proved 13/01/1837.
