Born Cambridge Mass., owner of Long Lane Delap's on Antigua and through his wife Gravenor's also on Antigua, and dying between 1828 and 1830. Father of Joseph Lavicount (q.v.); presumably John Lavicount Anderdon (q.v.) was his or his father's namesake. In 1824, 208 enslaved people were registered by Samuel Warner atty of John Lavicount on an unnamed estate on Antigua, almost certainly Long Lane Delap's. Husband of Ann Gravenor Buckley.
