Nephew of William Prescod (q.v.) from whom he had purchased Westmoreland and Water Hall estates. In Prescod's will, he forgave John Prescod Williams' indebtedness to him raising from this purchase. Williams was buried in St James, Barbados, 30 September 1823. He had married Sarah Prescod Lewis in St Lucy, Barbados, 9 August 1810.
