???? - 7th Nov 1824
"Now residing in England" - 1817. This has been inferred to be Letitia Laird nee Cunningham, co-heir with her sister Ann Martin (q.v.) of James Cunningham of Chesterfield estate (q.v.).
Burial of Letitia Laird aged 86 13/11/1824 at Bristol, Gloucs.
Letitia, relict of James Laird esq, formerly of Chesterfield in the parish of St Elizabeth, Jamaica, died at Westbury-upon-Trym 07/11/1824, “having nearly completed her 86th year”. She is commemorated on the same memorial inscription as Letitia, wife of James Gale Senior, in St Paul’s Church, Bristol; this Letitia Senior was a daughter of Lewis Burwell Martin and his wife Ann, nee Cunningham, and was probably Letitia Laird’s niece.

Vere Langford Oliver, Caribbeana being miscellaneous papers relating to the history, genealogy, topography, and antiquities of the British West Indies (6 vols., London, Mitchell, Hughes and Clarke, 1910-1919) vol. 2 p. 308. This source also states Letitia Laird was "evidently the mother" of Letitia Senior, wife of James Gale Senior, though this is incorrect.
