Apparently resident slave-owner in Jamaica, where he owned the Carlton estate in St Ann from at least 1797 until his death c. 1810. The compensation for the estate was paid to his three daughters. To date no will or probate has been found for him.
Listed as the owner of three estates in St Ann in 1792: Content with 108 enslaved people and 44 stock; Lincoln with 10 enslaved people and 29 stock; and Prosper Hall with 25 enslaved people and 196 stock.
