1739 - 3rd Feb 1825
Owner of a moity of Fuller's Rest (and possibly Thetford) in St John, Jamaica, which he sold to his brother Peeke Fuller c. 1795. Peeke Fuller left Charles Beckford Fuller an annuity of £800 in his will, presumably as part of the sale. Charles Beckford Fuller, son of Thomas and Christian Fuller, was baptised in St Catherine, Jamaica, 27/09/1739.
Adm. pens. (age 18) at TRINITY [Cambridge], May 8, 1758. S. of Thomas, of Jamaica (mentioned in Caribbeana, IV. 95 as owning land in Jamaica, in 1750). School, Westminster. Matric. Michs. 1758. Died Mar. 2, 1825. (Record of Old Westminsters.)
In the will of his brother Peeke Fuller (q.v.) (made in 1795), Charles Beckford Fuller was described as of Wellwyn Herts. The will of Charles Fuller of Datchworth Hertfordshire proved 10/05/1825 is the only possible will for this man. The will, made in 1796, leaves all his property to Sarah Gregory 'late of Coldicote' Hertfordshire: it makes no mention of property in Jamaica.
