Biography

Party in Chancery suit of Fuller v Willis, into which was paid part of the compensation for two awards in Jamaica, given as 'Fred Hervey Fuller' in the compensation records. Fuller was a Lt Col. in the 58th Foot, son of Peeke Fuller of Jamaica, grandson of Hon. Felton Hervey, and died 25/01/1865 aged 79, family memorial at Wargrave, Berks.

  1. Frederick Fuller, age 45, occupation "army", was living at Bear Hill Villa, Wargrave, in the census of 1841 with Caroline Fuller, age 55, Louisa Walsh, age 50, Amelia Walsh age 18, three female servants and one male servant. Frederick H. Fuller, unmarried, age 58, born Jamaica, was living at Bear Hill, Wargrave, in the census of 1851 with his sisters Louisa Walsh, age 67, Caroline L. Fuller, age 70, two nieces, one footman, a cook and a housemaid. He was in Wargrave in 1861, age 73, with his sister Caroline Lepel Fuller, niece Louisa Walsh, a footman, a coachman, a cook and a housemaid.

  2. Letters of administration of estate of Frederick Hervey Fuller late of Bear Hill, Wargrave Berks. a Lt-Col in the Army who died at Bear Hill 25/01/1865 granted 07/07/1865 to Louisa Caroline Wigney the niece, effects under £100 resworn June 1874 £12,000.
