The Culpeper family was established in Barbados by the late C17th. Dr William Culpeper (c.1689-) and Rebecca Malloney (c.1692- ) were the parents of Francis Culpeper (born after 1715-died after 1776) who married Mercy Pike (also of Barbados) at St Joseph, 11 July 1754. Their children were William Alleyne Culpeper (born before 18 May 1760-?), Mercy Alleyne Culpeper (born before 29 January 1764-?) and Francis Culpeper (born before 20 April 1766- 1769).
Appears to be the husband of Mary Webb and father of William Alleyne Culpeper (1792-1870) (q.v.). The children were:
Francis (17 Oct 1781 - ), Mercy Pike (c. 1783 - ), Mary Elizabeth (Dec 1787 - ), William Alleyne (Dec 1789 - before 13 May 1792), William Alleyne (13 May 1792 - 21 Jan 1870), Nathaniel Thomas (12 Nov 1793 - 1794), Nathaniel Henry (5 Jun 1798 - before 31 Dec 1798), Henrietta Quintyne (before 18 Apr 1801 - 15 Dec 1857).
