Second daughter of John Wedderburn of Spring Garden (q.v.) and Mary Wisdom Bedward (q.v.), born Bluecastle, Jamaica. Married Rev. John Wellings, chaplain to Countess of Selkirk (son of Edward Wellings of Ludlow). Inherited £3000 from her uncle, James Wedderburn of Westmoreland (q.v.). Her daughter Katherine Mary Wellings married her first cousin John Sirling of Kipperdavie. Mary Wisdom Wedderburn lived with her daughter and son-in-law at the end of her life.
