Elizabeth Blyth (née Wedderburn)

8th Mar 1747 - 8th Feb 1819

Biography

Sister of James Wedderburn of Westmoreland (q.v.) and John Wedderburn of Spring Garden (q.v.). Left a legacy of £200 in her brother James' will. She married John Blyth, an architect from Aberdeenshire, which purportedly estranged her from her family who felt his position too lowly. However, her sons John, Alexander and Stuart (all q.v.) also received legacies and recognition in their uncle's will. Her sons were in Jamaica in the 1790s. A daughter Rosamund married ???? Davidson in Jamaica.
