Merchant of Barbados, reportedly also slave-owner through the purchase of Thorpe's and Oxnards c. 1791, and probably the slave-trader with three voyages between 1798 and 1800.
Caribbeana Vol. II pp. 42 and 301 showed him as dying in January 1808, and as the brother-in-law of Jarratt Ham[p]den; TASTDB shows Thomas Hordle as the owner in voyages nos. 82597, 82598 and 82599, all of the ship the Mary, two from Barbados in 1799-1800 and one from London in 1798.
