Associated People (7)

The dates listed below have different categories as denoted by the letters in the brackets following each date. Here is a key to explain those letter codes:

  • SD - Association Start Date
  • SY - Association Start Year
  • EA - Earliest Known Association
  • ED - Association End Date
  • EY - Association End Year
  • LA - Latest Known Association
Owner

Tentatively inferred by LBS.

1791 [SY] - → Owner
1742 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Owner

The Hughes-Queree Index suggests that James Hackett was associated with the Thorpe's estate from 1742-1791.

1788 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Executor

It is possible that Dr Robert Walton was different from the one here but note that the biog details on Walton place him in Barbados as well as purchasing land in Tobago. Note too that the inventory gives him as 'Dr Robert Walton the elder'.

1788 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Executor
1788 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Executor
1825 [EA] - 1850 [LA] → Owner

Hughes-Queree give Samuel Hall as the owner in 1825 and then in 1842-50, deceased. This is probably the same Samuel Hall as given here.
