Biography

Previous owner of Mill Hill, for which his wife Mary Russell nee Bannerman (q.v.) was awarded the compensation.

  1. Francis Russell of Blackhall co. Kincardine NB. Advocate. Owner of 'Millhill' [or Mill Hill] of 333 acres and 'Gardeners' in Old Road Antigua which he had inherited from his uncle Lockhart Russell and bequeathed under his will to his wife Mary Russell otherwise Bannerman, subject to the life interest of Lockhart Russell's widow Rachel, as well as £10,000 and the annuity of £600 p.a. that he in turn had been left by Lockhart Russell during the life of Francis' aunt (Lockhart Russell's widow) Rachel.
