Biography
- Will of John Trent of Ilminster Somerset proved 05/09/1796. The will made 05/08/1796 at Dillington is signed by mark. Trent left his wife £200 p.a. in addition to her jointure, and £6000 each to his two young children. A note says: 'It is Mr Trent's wish that if either of his estates must be sold that this the Dillington estate be first sold.' He added a codicil to provide the child with which Mrs Trent was then pregnant with £6000 too.
