Biography

Appears as R.J Mountague, but probably Rebecca James Mountague widow of Bristol whose will was proved 04/10/1833. Her will is short, and provides for her personalty (other than £100 to her nephew Ralph Mountague Bernard and £20 to her servant Ann Bartlett) to be placed in trust in the funds to replace the amounts drawn down under an unspecified trust. Her trustees were Charles Edward Bernard and Eliza Bernard. She was the widow of Ralph Mountague jun., who left her an annuity of £400 p.a. in his will.
